The sample in this study class VIII.5 was<br>taught by cooperative learning model TPS-TGT type taken using techniques cluster<br>random sampling. The data collected consisted of data on student learning<br>outcomes, data on learners' motivation, data on student activities during the<br>learning process, and data on student responses to the application of cooperative<br>learning models of the TPS-TGT type.<br>The results showed that the score of mathematics learning outcomes of students in<br>class VIII.5 was in the high category with a mean of 80.15 and a standard<br>deviation of 9.79, completeness in classics was 82.5%, the average normalized<br>gain was in the high category, scores the average learning motivation of students is<br>in the high category, the average gain normalized learning motivation is in the<br>medium category, the activity of students in following the learning process is in a<br>good category, and student responses to the application of the cooperative learning<br>model TPS-TGT type are positive. The<br>use of ICT in learning includes tutorials, application tools and communication,<br>while the application of ICT in the world of education is in the form of electronic<br>books and e-learning. The use of information and communication technology in<br>education is absolutely necessary to answer problems in the education sector,<br>especially for access and equity and the quality of education. Everything will run<br>smoothly depending on the technology and network conditions available.<br>Standardization and utilization of ICT in education is very important to ensure the<br>quality of educational processes and outcomes. Teachers as implementers of<br>education are required to design the learning process by presenting the right<br>learning atmosphere so that the learning process can take place effectively,<br>efficiently and pleasantly. The<br>instruments used in this study are: observation guidelines, interview guidelines,<br>and researchers as key instruments. The informants interviewed in this study were<br>principals, deputy heads of curriculum, Islamic Education teachers, and students.<br>The results showed that the planning of character education using the film Sunan<br>Kalijaga in the learning process of Islamic Education was done by planning in the<br>form of a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) supervised by the school, reviewing<br>the media, and reviewing learning material. The implementation of character<br>education is done by integrating character values into the material of Islamic<br>Education, especially related to moral material using the film Sunan Kalijaga that<br>is applied using the inquiry method. The implementation of character education<br>through film media in the learning of Islamic Education has an impact in<br>improving the quality of learning that is more fun, motivating, inspiring, and<br>meaningful. Ziaul Haq Hs mziaulhaqhs@gmail.com <p>ABSTRACT<br>Teacher is one of the crucial factors in learning; regardless how ideal the<br>curriculum is, without any support of teachers’ capability to implement the<br>curriculum, it would not achieve the assigned educational goals. Teachers who<br>devote themselves in areas categorized as 3T (Outermost, Frontier, and<br>Underdeveloped) require concerns from the government. The study aims to explain<br>(1) How the provision of special allowances of remote areas to the junior high<br>school teachers in the District of Northern Liukang Tupabbiring of Pangkep<br>Regency, (2) How the performance of junior high school teachers in the District of<br>Northern Liukang Tupabbiring of Pangkep Regency, (3) What impacts of providing<br>special allowances of remote areas on the improvement of junior high school<br>teachers’ performance in the District of Northern Liukang Tupabbiring of Pangkep<br>Regency.<br>The study was a field research situated in junior high schools in the District of<br>Northern Liukang Tupabbiring of Pangkep Regency. The research subjects were<br>junior high school teachers in the District of Northern Liukang Tupabbiring of<br>Pangkep Regency. Interview, observation, and documentation were utilized in<br>collecting the data which then verified by reducing the data, presenting them, and<br>drawing conclusions. The study employed a multidisciplinary approach using<br>qualitative data analysis consisting of three stages: (1) pre-field, (2) field work, (3)<br>analysis.<br>The results revealed that the provision of special allowances of remote areas to the<br>junior high school teachers in the District of Northern Liukang Tupabbiring of<br>Pangkep Regency was still not evenly distributed. Most of the teachers, however,<br>had got the allowances, while the junior high school teachers’ performance in the<br>District of Northern Liukang Tupabbiring of Pangkep Regency needed to be<br>improved, and after giving the allowance, they were motivated to develop<br>themselves and their performance as teachers in remote areas. The impacts of<br>providing special allowances of remote areas in improving the junior high school<br>teachers’ performance in the District of Northern Liukang Tupabbiring of Pangkep<br>Regency were as an additional income to overcome the difficulties of life for<br>serving in remote areas, to boost the teachers' welfare in remote areas, so the<br>quality of education in remote areas could compete with the education in urban<br>areas.</p> <p>The implications of this study were teachers expected that there were equitable<br>distribution to all teachers who were entitled to special allowances in remote<br>areas, as well as providing them with the ease of continuing education to improve<br>their competence in order to become creative and insightful teachers.</p> 2018-12-12T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2018 http://ejurnal.iainpare.ac.id/index.php/alislah/article/view/750 Pengaruh Pengelolaan Kelas Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Peserta Didik Kelas IX MTS YMPI Rappang Kabupaten Sidrap 2019-06-21T06:13:35+00:00 Usman Noer usmannoer@gmail.com Nuryani Nuryani nuryani@gmail.com <p>ABSTRACT<br>Class management is needed by the teacher in utilizing the potential of the class,<br>making learning and learning to remain optimal, enjoyable and to improve optimal<br>conditions in the event of a disruption in the learning process. Motivation to learn<br>is an impulse from inside and outside the self of students who can move it to be<br>more active in learning activities in order to obtain the desired goals by changing<br>behavior both from the aspects of thought, affective and psychomotor. This study<br>discusses the motivation of the class towards the motivation to learn history and<br>the Islamic participants of class IX of YMPI Rappang's MTs. This type of research<br>is field research with associative quantitative design. As a technique of data<br>collection, namely observation, questionnaire and documentation with descriptive<br>and infrequent analysis techniques. The results showed that: (1) Management of<br>classes in class IX of YMPI Rappang MTs showed a good category with a<br>percentage rate of 77.4%. (2) Learning motivation of students shows a good<br>category with a percentage of 85.4%. (3) There is a significant difference between<br>the learning class towards the learning motivation of YMPI Rappang's IX grade<br>students. This can be seen from the results of manual calculations tcount = 9.406&gt;<br>t table = 1998 and the value of R Square or r2 obtained 0.564.
