The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the field of education, influencing students’ behavior patterns and character formation. This condition presents new challenges for Islamic education, particularly in shaping Islamic character amid the rapid flow of digital information. Teachers play a strategic role in directing the use of technology so that it aligns with Islamic values. This study aims to analyze teachers’ strategies in shaping students’ Islamic character in the digital era. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that teachers’ strategies in shaping Islamic character include integrating Islamic values into digital-based learning, exemplifying ethical behavior and digital ethics, strengthening Islamic values-based digital literacy, and fostering collaboration between teachers and parents. These strategies have been shown to enhance students’ religious character, moral responsibility, and critical attitudes in utilizing digital technology. The study concludes that digital technology is not an obstacle to Islamic character education; rather, it can serve as an effective medium when managed wisely and integrated with Islamic values. The findings offer both practical and theoretical relevance for the development of Islamic education that is adaptive to contemporary challenges.
