Abstract

Waste management is still a problem in almost all areas. The population that continues to grow, because of high fertility rate, low mortality rate, and the migration certainly has a significant influence on waste management, including household waste. This also happened in Fakkie Village, Pinrang Regency, South Sulawesi. The high population density in this area also influences the way people view waste. Not a few enviromental problems that arise because people are indifferent to managing household waste in the right way. This study aims to [1] Explore the effect of the number of occupations on the high pollution of household waste in Fakkie Village; and [2] Knowing the points used by the community as a place for household waste disposal, and their impact.
