Abstrak
Tujuan – Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh promosi jabatan terhadap kinerja pegawai milenial di sektor perbankan, khususnya di Bank BRI KC Maros, dan untuk memahami sejauh mana minat pegawai milenial terhadap promosi jabatan memengaruhi motivasi dan kinerja mereka di lingkungan kerja.
Metode – Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi linier sederhana. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada pegawai Bank BRI KC Maros, kemudian diolah menggunakan SPSS versi 25 untuk menguji validitas, reliabilitas, dan pengaruh antara variabel promosi jabatan dengan kinerja pegawai.
Temuan – Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa promosi jabatan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai di Bank BRI KC Maros. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pegawai milenial tetap bekerja dengan dedikasi tinggi meskipun tanpa prospek promosi jabatan, yang mencerminkan motivasi intrinsik dan profesionalisme mereka dalam menjalankan tugas.
Implikasi Praktis – Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah manajemen perbankan perlu lebih memperhatikan faktor motivasi intrinsik dan pengembangan diri pegawai milenial, daripada hanya berfokus pada promosi jabatan sebagai bentuk penghargaan. Program pelatihan, pengembangan karier yang fleksibel, dan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung keseimbangan kerja-kehidupan dapat meningkatkan kinerja dan loyalitas karyawan milenial.
Orisinalitas/Nilai – Nilai orisinal penelitian ini terletak pada fokusnya pada perilaku dan motivasi karyawan milenial di sektor perbankan Indonesia, yang menunjukkan bahwa kinerja lebih dipengaruhi oleh motivasi intrinsik daripada peluang promosi.
