الملخص

Methods in the learning process are very important, an educator must adjust methods in the teaching and learning process in line with changes in students' attitudes and interests towards the material being taught to avoid students feeling bored and sleepy during the learning process. This research is included in the type of quantitative experimental research using a Pre-Experimental Design (non-design) research design in the form of a Pre-test and Post-test design. As for the research sample of 21 students, the researcher determined for himself that the samples taken were not pickled or saturated samples. The results of the research show that (1) class VII students' mastery of Arabic language before applying the Index Car Match method resulted in the number of students in the very good category being 3 students, 5 students in the good category and 13 students in the poor category. Based on hypothesis testing, it was found that 58% means that students' mastery of Arabic mufradat is poor (2) Class VII students' mastery of Arabic mufradat after applying the Index Car Match method showed that the number of students with very good mastery of mufradat was 11 students, 1 participant in the good category. students, the adequate category is 7 students and the insufficient category is 2 students. Based on hypothesis testing, it was found that 84% means that students' mastery of mufradat is sufficient (3) the increase in mastery of Arabic mufradat of class VII students after implementing the Index Car Match method is marked with a Sig value. 0.000 < 0.05 which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The increase in students' mastery of Arabic mufradat after implementing the Index Card Match method was 78%.
