Abstract

The Mumtaz method is one of the brain therapies that helps learners balance between the left and right brain to get out of learning difficulties. This is done in order to get used to listening to old songs that are created into foreign languages according tothe material in science. The Mumtaz method was originally developed by Alimin Mesra and Saifuddin Zuhri who focused on developing Arabic grammar memorization using various songs such as religious songs and children's songs and finally Abdullah Muhammad who has illustrated that the Mumtaz method is very likely to facilitate someone in understanding the science of nahwu and make people interested in its presentation.     This research uses a type of quantitative research, especially quantitative experiments. The research design used is Pre-Experimental research in the form of one group pretest-posttest design. The one group pretest-posttest design is a form of research that compares the conditions before and after treatment. The instruments used are pretest, treatment and post test as well as entity docum. Based on research results in managing learning for 4 meetings including pre-test and post-test, it was found that the Mumtaz method was said to be effective because before the treatment of understanding Nahwu rules, students of class XI MA DDI Takkalasi were still below average with a presentation value of 47% compared to the results obtained after treatment using the  Mumtaz  method  with an average post-test score of  70.17%. With the calculation of the hypothesis test shows that the sig value < 0.05 so it is concluded that the hypothesis is accepted and shows that Ho  is rejected and Ha is accepted.
