Abstract

The implementation of the independent curriculum by the Ministry of Education and Culture requires adaptation and adjustment of various educational elements. Both schools, teachers and students. However, in the process there are challenges that become obstacles in making the independent curriculum a success. This article aims to describe the challenges faced by Arabic language teachers in implementing the independent curriculum in class X MAN Pnagkep. This article uses a descriptive qualitative method which collects data using techniques such as observation, interviews and library research, then the data will undergo three stages, namely; reduction, data presentation, data drawing conclusions. The results of this research are that there are challenges that are obstacles to the maximum implementation of the independent curriculum faced by teachers. Where these challenges come from various parties.
