This study aims to systematically examine the representation of religious moderation values in Arabic language textbooks in Indonesia during the period 2015–2025. Using a systematic literature review with a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach based on the PRISMA guidelines, this study analyzed 30 accredited national and international articles. The findings show that most Arabic textbooks, particularly at madrasah and Islamic higher education levels, have begun to integrate moderation values such as tolerance (tasamuh), justice (‘adalah), balance (tawazun), and rejection of extremism through dialogic narratives, inclusive vocabulary, and multicultural reinforcement. However, disparities remain in terms of consistency and depth, with a dominance of formal linguistic aspects over ideological and affective dimensions. The study concludes that the development of Arabic textbooks must explicitly and systematically incorporate moderation values, supported by teacher training and further primary analyses of actual textbooks at various educational levels.
