INTONASI HĀNĪ AL-RIFĀʻĪ PADA AYAT PERINGATAN DALAM QS. AL-AʻRĀF (SUATU ANALISIS FONEMIK)

Abstract

This study examines the intonation of Hānī Al-Rifāʻī in the warning verses of Surah Al-Aʻrāf (A Phonemic Analysis). It addresses two research questions: the forms of Hānī Al-Rifāʻī's intonation in the warning verses of Surah Al-Aʻrāf and the meanings of his intonation in these verses. The study aims to identify the forms of Hānī Al-Rifāʻī's intonation in the warning verses of Surah Al-Aʻrāf and to understand the meanings conveyed by his intonation in these verses. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, encompassing the processes of searching, observing, and analyzing words. Data collection utilizes the simak-catat method, which involves listening and recording. The listening method is implemented by capturing an individual’s or several individuals' use of language, either orally or in written form. The findings reveal 30 forms of intonation in the warning verses of Surah Al-Aʻrāf, including rising-falling intonation in 10 verses, flat intonation in 5 verses, falling-rising intonation in 1 verse, rising intonation in 7 verses, and falling intonation in 7 verses. The meanings derived from these intonations encompass declarative sentences, commands, and questions, which also include elements of warnings, prohibitions, and advice.
