TOURISM PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT OF PAPUTO BEACH IN PAREPARE CITY

Abstract

This research aims to determine the form of management of tourism which includes planning to optimizing Paputo Beach as a tourist attraction. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research which describes the situation at Paputo Beach. Types of primary and secondary data obtained through observation, interviews, documentation studies. The results of the research show that Paputo Beach management planning has planned several things in destination development including improving facilities and infrastructure, developing attractions such as adding jetsky and banan boat rides as well as adding tourist attractions such as live music and also adding local culinary menus that can be enjoyed. attracting tourists to Paputo Beach. The management of Paputo Beach has implemented various efforts, programs and policies to develop tourist destinations at Paputo Beach. Namely the construction and development of infrastructure, promotion and improvement of environmental quality. Regarding the principles of sharia tourism development, Paputo Beach has fulfilled several principles so that Paputo Beach can be used as a tourist destination with a sharia concept in the future with various improvements, requires the readiness of human resources and requires seriousness and optimal support from stakeholders.
