The aim of this research is to identify the potential for sharia tourism reflected in mappadendang  culture, evaluate the potential for the attraction of mappadendang  culture to become a tourist attraction in Suppa District. This research uses descriptive qualitative. This method was chosen to enable an in-depth understanding of how tourism potential can be integrated into mappadendang  culture. Through interviews, observation and documentation. The focus of this research is to analyze the cultural potential of mappadendang  in the context of sharia tourism. The results of research on the cultural potential of mappadendang  from a sharia tourism perspective in Suppa District, specifically in Alakkang Hamlet, Maritengngae Village, show that the cultural potential of mappadendang  is in line with sharia principles. These include dance movements and musical rhythms, traditional clothing, and the cultural meaning of Mappadendang  itself. So this tradition has the potential to be used as a cultural tourism attraction, especially tourism with a sharia concept, with the required role of various tourism stakeholders and stakeholders in the Suppa District area so that the promotion of mappadendang  culture needs to be maximized in the wider community.
