This study describes the factors that become obstacles/obstacles in managing tourism objects in Parepare City. This research uses descriptive qualitative which produces descriptive data in the form of other people's written or spoken words and observable behavior. The technique used in the form of data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the strategy used by the Tourism Office in managing tourism is to use a SWOT analysis. Potential tourist objects that are focused on in Parepare City are natural attractions and artificial attractions. The inhibiting factors, namely obstacles or obstacles in the development and development of tourism are 1) Facilities and Infrastructure, 2) Human Resources, 3) Accessibility.
