Banco applies a double blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of all published articles. The identities of authors and reviewers are concealed throughout the review process to maintain objectivity and impartiality.

1. Submission of Manuscript

The review process begins when an author submits a manuscript through the journal’s online submission system. The editorial team conducts an initial screening to ensure administrative completeness, compliance with the journal’s author guidelines, and alignment with the journal’s focus and scope.

2. Initial Editorial Assessment

The editor evaluates the manuscript for its relevance, originality, and basic academic quality. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s scope or minimum standards may be rejected at this stage without external review.

3. Assignment of Reviewers

Manuscripts passing the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript’s subject area. Banco employs a double blind review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.

4. Review and Evaluation

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on the following criteria
Clarity and quality of academic writing
Originality and significance of the scholarly contribution
Appropriateness and rigor of methodology
Ethical compliance and accuracy of references
Relevance to the journal’s focus and scope

Based on their assessment, reviewers provide one of the following recommendations
Accept
Minor revision
Major revision
Reject

5. Reviewers’ Feedback

Reviewers submit written evaluation reports containing constructive comments and suggestions intended to improve the manuscript’s academic quality, structure, and argumentation.

6. Revision by the Author

The editor communicates the reviewers’ comments to the author. Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in accordance with the feedback provided and submit a revised version along with a response to reviewers. Reviewer identities remain anonymous throughout this process.

7. Final Editorial Decision

The editor makes the final decision based on the revised manuscript and the reviewers’ recommendations. Manuscripts that satisfactorily address the reviewers’ comments are accepted for publication, while those that fail to meet the journal’s standards may be rejected.

8. Publication

Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, layout, and proofreading before publication. All articles are published open access in accordance with the journal’s publication schedule.
