Abstract

This study discusses the development of facilities and services of the Bissappu Waterfall tourist attraction in Bantaeng Regency in increasing tourist visits (sharia tourism perspective) based on the formulation of the problem, namely 1) What is the condition of the facilities of the Bissappu Waterfall tourist attraction in Bantaeng Regency. 2) What factors cause the lack of facilities of the Bissappu Waterfall tourist attraction in Bantaeng Regency. 3) How is the development of facilities and services of the Bissappu Waterfall tourist attraction in Bantaeng Regency in increasing tourist visits from a sharia tourism perspective. The research used was qualitative, employing a phenomenological approach. The research location was Bonto Salluang Village, Bissappu District, Bantaeng Regency. Data collection and processing techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis was carried out through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that 1) The condition of the Bissappu Waterfall tourist attraction facilities is at the stage of optimizing facilities during the consolidation stage. The management in this case carries out repairs, maintenance and development of facilities so that they can meet the needs of tourists and increase tourist visits. 2) Bissappu Waterfall has minimal facilities. This is due to geographical location, environment, limited budget and the absence of cooperation with other parties so that the Tourism Office carries out gradual development to meet the needs of tourists. 3) In developing facilities and services from a sharia tourism perspective, the Tourism Office strives to provide facilities in the form of a prayer room for worship and improve services in the form of parking attendants to be friendly to tourists. In the perspective of sharia tourism, Bissappu Waterfall needs to pay attention to three principles such as sharia-based facilities, sharia-based services and sharia-based tourism based on one of the traditional cultures.
