The prevalence of child sexual abuse cases in Indonesia has reportedly increased significantly. At the same time, education about sexuality is still often considered a sensitive and avoided topic, both within the family and educational institutions. Sexual education from an Islamic perspective offers a comprehensive framework that focuses on developing awareness of self-protection, moral character building, and strengthening spiritual dimensions. This research adopts a literature study and descriptive analysis method to examine the concept of child sexual education as proposed by Abu Ihsan al-Atsari. According to him, sex education should begin at an early age, with an emphasis on teaching the ethics of asking permission, the importance of maintaining modesty, and understanding the rules of interaction between the sexes. This also includes the prohibition of ikhtilat, which has the potential to lead to deviant behaviour. As children approach puberty, strengthening their faith becomes a priority through learning about the importance of guarding one's gaze, the ethics of receiving guests, rules regarding mahram, and the obligation to cover the aurat. In an era where promiscuity is increasingly prevalent, Islamic sex education is an urgent necessity to protect children from potential behavioural deviations.
