Banco: Jurnal Manajemen dan Perbankan Syariah is a peer reviewed open access academic journal published biannually in May and November by the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, Institut Agama Islam Negeri IAIN Parepare, Indonesia.

The journal aims to advance scholarly discussion on Islamic management and Sharia banking by publishing original empirical research and theoretical studies that critically examine the interaction between Islamic law fiqh muamalat, financial institutions, and contemporary socio economic challenges. Banco provides a platform for interdisciplinary perspectives that connect Islamic finance with broader societal transformations at local, national, and global levels.

Banco focuses on the integration of Islamic banking and financial management practices within global sustainability and ethical frameworks, including Environmental Social and Governance ESG principles, Sustainable Development Goals SDGs, and maqasid al shariah particularly hifz al mal and related dimensions. The journal encourages contributions that move beyond descriptive or normative discussions by offering analytical depth, methodological rigor, and conceptual innovation.
