Volume 23 Issue 1 presents five scholarly articles that align with the journal’s central focus on “Islamic Education Based on Local Wisdom and Sustainability.” This issue offers significant contributions to the integration of local cultural values, innovative Islamic pedagogical practices, and sustainability-oriented approaches across various Islamic education settings.

The articles explore the incorporation of the Tilawatil Qur’an method into local-wisdom–based extracurricular programs, the role of the Aisyiyah organization in Islamic family education, cultural transformation and childhood learning patterns in Bone Regency, motivation enhancement through interactive multimedia, and a critical reconstruction of the integrative paradigm in Indonesia’s Integrated Islamic Schools.

This issue further strengthens the international academic presence of Al-Ishlah with contributions from Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan, Universitas Muhammadiyah Palopo, IAIN Bone, IAIQI Indralaya, and global academic collaboration including Universitas Colombia, underscoring the journal’s commitment to globally relevant, high-quality research in Islamic education.
