Abstract
Pembelajaran matematika yang inovatif diperlukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Salah satu pendekatan yang potensial adalah outdoor learning melalui penggunaan Math City Map, yang menyajikan konteks nyata dan menarik dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas Math City Map dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa di salah satu SMP Negeri di Patampanua melalui pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes dan observasi, dengan teknik purposive sampling yang difokuskan pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa, dari rata-rata 47,3% pada siklus I menjadi 88% pada siklus II, dengan rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 67,6%. Peningkatan hasil belajar juga terlihat dari 43% pada siklus I menjadi 98% pada siklus II, melampaui target ketuntasan minimal 60%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Math City Map dalam konteks pembelajaran luar ruang merupakan metode yang efektif dalam mendukung pengembangan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Implikasi dari temuan ini adalah perlunya integrasi media pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan nyata seperti Math City Map dalam kurikulum sebagai upaya konkret untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan hasil belajar siswa secara berkelanjutan
