Correction and Retraction
At Journal of Mathematics Learning Innovation (JMLI), we uphold the integrity of academic publishing. We are committed to maintaining the accuracy and reliability of the scholarly record. As such, we follow a transparent policy regarding corrections, retractions, and editorial notices.
Corrections
If a significant error is identified in a published article—whether reported by authors, editors, or readers—we will issue a correction. Corrections may include factual mistakes, author name errors, or other information that does not alter the study's results or conclusions but requires clarification.
All corrections will be clearly labeled and linked to the original article. The corrected version will be published in the next issue or as soon as possible online.
Retractions
Articles may be retracted when there is evidence of:
-
Plagiarism
-
Fabrication or falsification of data
-
Ethical violations (e.g., lack of informed consent or approval)
-
Major methodological flaws
-
Duplicate publication
Retractions are issued following COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. The retracted article remains accessible for transparency but is marked clearly as retracted, with a detailed explanation.
Author-Initiated Withdrawal
Before the article is formally accepted, authors may request to withdraw their manuscript by providing a written explanation. Withdrawal after acceptance or publication is discouraged and requires editorial approval.
We take these measures to ensure that JMLI remains a trustworthy source for researchers, educators, and the academic community at large.
