Journal of Mathematics Learning Innovation (JMLI) is an international open-access peer-reviewed journal established for the dissemination of cutting-edge knowledge in the field of mathematics education. This journal was established through collaboration between mathematics education development and mathematics. Starting in 2022, it will be published twice a year (in March and September). All manuscripts submitted will initially be reviewed by the editor and then evaluated by at least two reviewers through a double-blind review process. This is to ensure the quality of manuscripts published in the journal.

To maintain the integrity and quality of published research, all submitted manuscripts will undergo a thorough plagiarism screening process. The following procedures are followed:

Plagiarism Detection Software: Manuscripts will be checked using advanced plagiarism detection tools such as Turnitin. This is done to ensure that the work submitted is original and that proper citations are provided for all referenced material.
Threshold for Plagiarism: The journal has a strict policy regarding plagiarism. Any manuscript found to have a similarity index exceeding 20% will be flagged for further review. Authors will be notified if their manuscript exceeds this threshold, and they may be required to revise their work or provide further clarification regarding any flagged sections.
Ethical Responsibility of Authors: Authors are expected to ensure that their work adheres to the highest ethical standards, including proper citation practices and the submission of original content. Plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, is considered a serious ethical violation.
Consequences of Plagiarism: If plagiarism is detected, the manuscript will be immediately rejected, and the author(s) may be prohibited from submitting to the journal in the future. In cases of severe plagiarism, the manuscript may be reported to the author’s affiliated institution or relevant academic bodies.
Transparency in the Process: The plagiarism screening process is conducted transparently. Authors have the opportunity to appeal any decisions related to plagiarism findings by contacting the editorial team at [email protected].
